RE: Precautionary Procedures for Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In line with our company values, the health and safety of all employees and those that we interact with through our work, is our primary concern and priority. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, SubZero Blasting & Coatings have implemented the following measures:
Assessment, monitoring, and implementation of recommendations and best practices from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
Thorough sanitization procedures for common touch points amongst SubZero tools, equipment, and machinery including regular disinfection and proper disposal of waste.
Circulation of WHO guidelines on personal hygiene (i.e. hand washing) – personal hand sanitizer bottles have been provided to all employees
Promotion of respiratory hygiene including ensuring face masks are worn when an employee is displaying symptoms associated with irritants, a cold, and/or allergies (i.e. runny nose and/or cough)
When feasible, implementation of social distancing measures when attending jobsites.
Education provided to all employees regarding protection from COVID-19, COVID-19 symptoms, when to stay home and self-isolating guidelines outside the workplace.
Regular monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms amongst employees.
